Become A More Passionate Person

be-passionate on WhiteWhen you have passion, you have a life energy that allows you to achieve your dreams. Passion helps you get out of bed in the morning and seize the day! But what can you do when you feel like you’ve lost your passion?

How Does Passion Benefits You?

There are many benefits to being a more passionate person. With an invigorating passion for life, you can enjoy sustainable energy that motivates and inspires you. You’ll also enjoy more leisure time, quality relationships, and people will be drawn to you. You’ll also enjoy an enthusiasm for life that can last a lifetime. It all starts with this simple thing called passion!

Developing Greater Passion

Everyone has their own unique path to developing greater passion in their lives. Experiment with different strategies to find something that works for you.

Keep the following tips in mind as you seek your passions:

  1. Follow your dreams. Following your dreams is not a fairytale; it’s what you’re supposed to do in life! If you’ve lost your passion, chances are you’ve been working towards a goal that’s not your true goal. It’s time to evaluate your priorities.
  2. Consider religion and spirituality. Maybe it’s time to get more in touch with your spiritual side. Many faiths deal with life’s tougher questions and they also provide purpose. When you discover your purpose and feel it, you’ll also find passion.
  3. Develop relationships. It’s always a good idea to delve deeper into your relationships with your loved ones. When you keep things fresh and try new things, you may also discover your passion. You’ll look forward to new life events when everything is not as mundane.

Get To Know Yourself and Your Values

If you’re still confused when it comes to finding your passion, perhaps it’ll help to take stock of your true values. Take a moment to write down your values. It might seem like a silly exercise, but when you see everything written down on paper it may provide you with some clarity.

Everyone will have a different set of values; it’s what makes a person unique. Once you’ve narrowed down your values, you can begin to see how you can honor them each day.

Anointed For Business
Being called by God to be a business owner means, approaching your business with the belief and understanding that your business truly belongs to God and that you commit to being led by His Spirit in answering and fulfilling the call.

As a business owner your approach to business is a God-centered approach with a Kingdom purpose. You bring your entire being to your business – your mind+ soul+ heart – faith fueled for success. When you are called to be a business owner it is a “spiritual calling and assignment.” God gives your business a message [products or services] that you are responsible for getting to the world in a big way. It is known in the Kingdom of God as a form of “greater works.”

Doing business without the spiritual influence or aspect is a disservice to your customers/clients and is a rejection of God – the one who called you to business. Without the spiritual influence you rob your business success and your customers from experiencing all of gifts, talents and abilities you have been empowered with, not to mention the moral and business integrity that comes from the Word of God.

Being called to be a business owner has several key spiritual principles that confirm the calling:

1. You are spiritually gifted by God for the business [assignment]. 1 Corinthians 12:4 “Now there are diversities of Gifts, but the same Spirit.”

2. You have received a revelation about being called to business. The Apostle Paul knew what he was called to do. He said, “I am called an apostle.” He had a revelation about his calling.

3. You are responsible for identifying the type of business God wants you to own by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:12 “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”

4. You are to use the Word of God as the blueprint for your business and to maintain daily focus. Psalm 119:105 “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

5. You commit to running your business with Christ-centered integrity and excellence. Titus 3:8 “This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.”

As a spirit-filled business owner, your ultimate assignment is to let your Light Shine before all men. You have been created for Purpose, called to an Assignment, and released into Greater Works.

Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and Glorify your Father in Heaven.”

GTGMT#15 – Top 10 Emotions of Power Pt 1

January 17, 2014 1 comment

Here are the first five emotions of power.

1. Love and warmth – A consistent expression of love seems to be the most powerful emotion of all, since it can melt away any negative emotion. The book A Course in Miracles says that all communication is either a loving response or a cry for help.

2. Appreciation and gratitude – Spiritual teachings tell us that appreciation and gratitude are the most powerful emotions for us to have because they set us up to receive more from the universe.

3. Curiosity – The easiest path to growth is constant curiosity. Then all of life’s lessons are interesting. Nothing is work, nothing is boring.  4. Excitement and passion – The great secret of passion is that it turns any challenge into an opportunity. It replaces fear with excitement.

That gives us the power to take action quicker and more easily than anything else does. Guess what? You can choose to feel passionate about the things you need to do and learn. You can visualize the task as exciting because it will get you farther along your path. These are the goals that you have chosen. Get excited about them!

5. Determination – If you want to see your dreams come true, if you want to reach your goals, this is the quality that will get you there. More than any other. Again, you can put yourself into a state of determination. Then you’ll do whatever it takes to meet your goals. Determination is your emotional muscle.

GTGMT 5 – Things to Undertake in Realizing Your Passion

Follow your Passion

The meaning of “getting yourself together” and  success depends on the person who is asked to define such. For some, this all boils down in finding your passion. And once that is achieved, they already feel successful with whatever ventures they have decided to take. But this is not as easy as you think it is.

You have to clear your mind of all the negativity that clouds your emotions. You need to take bigger risks and claim more than what you think you deserve.

Steps towards Your Goal

However hard the road ahead of you seems to be, in order for you to get nearer to your passion, you must always be ready to take the necessary steps towards it. Here are some things that you can do in this regard to help you with where you eventually would want to go.

1. You must engage yourself in a self assessment process. You have to think about things. What have you gone through to reach this point in your life? Where are you right now? And what else do you want to happen? How do you perceive yourself two to three years from now?

After you have clearly seen the person that you want to be after the years that you have allotted for you to achieve that, you must look into the steps that you must undertake to make sure that it will happen. You must review the steps that you are doing to make sure that you will become that person.

You will feel it inside you if you want to accomplish something badly enough that you are willing to do anything to get there. This is when you feel like you have no more time for other things that won’t help in order to become who you eventually want to be. One sign that you are at this point in your life is when you start reading articles and topics that can help you be more aware about your goals and ways to get there.

2. Your goals must be very clear to you. You know what you want to happen. You know how to get there. Speak your thoughts. Is that what you really want to achieve? Your words should match exactly how you feel.

3. You must not be too hard on yourself. You should keep your goals simple. And you must set each step that you will undertake easier to accomplish. This way, you will not easily give up when you are presented with unexpected situations.

Once you have settled your mind in doing the necessary steps for you to reach the goals that you have set for yourself, just proceed with it. You should not stop no matter what happens. This is something that you have to do in order to be at a happier and more fulfilled state.

After you have taken the steps in finding your passion, you must cherish your actions. You should also take good care of whatever you will eventually achieve to make sure that your hard work is rightly rewarded.

Next Level Nuggets #1- The Right People

October 22, 2013 3 comments

When it’s time to release your potential to the next level there are three things you must consider and protect as you are advancing in your ministry, career, business or community service – The Right People, The Right Place, and The Right Plan.

Here are some next level nuggets on “The Right People.”

The Right People -You Must Have The Right People Around Your Life

1. You must have like- minded people around you. How can two walk together except they agree on the direction? (Amos 3:1)

2. You must make sure that your vision, potential, and your life are surrounded by the right people. Surround your life with people who won’t mind celebrating you and your success.

3. Those you can speak the vision to. You need to build a team of people around you who are willing to listen to your vision and those who are willing to go the extra mile on your behalf.

4. Those who can speak to the vision. You need mentors in your life who will give your direction and guidance as you grow and advance.

5. Those who are pressing to hear from God. You need people who know how to hear from God and who are willing to cover you in prayer.

6. Be Mindful of the company you keep. They will affect your relationship with God and affect how you complete your assignment.

7. You must make sure that your vision and potential are not surrounded by people who are a detriment to your success. Those who are incompetent and who are not going anywhere in their own lives.

Psalm 1:1,2 – “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”
