Life Coach Specialization

There are different forms of life coaching available to meet the needs of individuals, companies and businesses. As a life coach, you can specialize on a certain field that you think you would do best. Each field is unique from each other, but interconnected too. Sometimes, you have to integrate one field to the other to make your coaching successful.

Relationship Coaching: Dr. Love

This involves helping your client deal with relationship issues in their lives. May it be a past love, present relationship, or even making decisions on choosing a life partner. A lot of people nowadays have love as their biggest problem. Teenagers and adults of all ages have this issue in their lives.

This type of coaching does not only include romantic relationships. It may also tackle family, friend, colleague, and neighborhood relations.  The client is taught and coached to realize that keeping the quality of relations to other people is important for their own personal growth.

Business Coaching: Doing It The Professional Way

Here, you help your client to become successful in their business life. You help them make decisions that are vital to their advancements.  Clients in this area probably face problems such as lack of confidence in themselves to run their business or to face the problems they encounter regarding the field.

As a coach, you help them see the clearer framework of the business world. You suggest strategies for them to evolve into a confident and successful business owner. You can help them start a business, take it to the next level, advertise effectively, finance wisely and set their priorities.

Management Coaching: Creating A Leader

Here, managers are the most common clients. They are coached on how to be effective and efficient managers. You coach them to hone their leadership skills to the fullest. They usually face problems on decision making, relating to their work-team, co-workers and superiors. In the end, they are able to cope with the stresses of having a managerial position.

Spiritual and Ministry Coaching: Uplifting The Spirit

This field deals with the less materialized problems. It involves empowering your client’s spirit to live more abundantly through spiritual growth and awareness. It can be beneficial not only to the client but also to the coach. The product of a renewed mind and spirit in the end is very life rewarding.

Life Balance Coaching: Learning To Juggle

Clients who need to know how to balance all those different aspects of their lives whether physical, emotional, social, business, academic and the likes, usually need a life balancing coach. They get to learn their priorities and see clearly what is really important and what truly matters in their lives.

Health And Fitness Coaching: To Live A Long Life

Clients that have health problems, most commonly weight problems enroll in this kind of program.

As a coach, you do not play doctor or a fitness trainer (unless you are a medical doctor or qualified as a fitness trainer) here, but instead you’ll be the one to refer them to one. You are there to motivate them to make changes with positive effect on their lives and keep them going until they reach their goal.

Being a life coach means aiming for the holistic development of your client. So whatever form of life coaching you are in or planning to go into, remember that you shouldn’t forget to look at the whole picture.  _________________________________________________________________________________________________

Diamond Coaching Success Training

Being a life coach can be one of the most fulfilling jobs in the world. You can help people with their lives and make money at the same time. But being a life coach is not an easy job.

A person aspiring to be a life coach needs to have proper training as well as the heart and determination to help people. For those who want to be a life coach, here are some tips and pieces of advice on how to be a life coach.

Definition of Life Coach and Life Coaching

You may already have some personal ideas of what a life coach is and what he or she does. Some information of this may be true and some may be not. To remove any misconceptions of the job of being a life coach, it would be good to learn what a life coach and what life coaching really is all about.

Life coaching is rooted in the methods of executive coaching which were derived from techniques that were developed in leadership training and management consulting. It also forged its principles from different disciplines like psychology, sociology, mentoring, career development and positive adult development. Because of these though, it has been a misconception that life coaching is a kind of therapy but is actually not.

A life coach is someone who practices life coaching. He or she is someone who helps other people determine and achieve their goals. They use different methods to do this. Methods of life coaches include behavior modification, mentoring, behavior modeling, values assessment, and goal setting. They may also modify existing methods depending on the client to make the coaching more effective. Again, life coaches should not be considered as psychologists or therapists.

The Willingness To Help

One of the most important traits that an aspiring life coach should posses is the willingness to help people. If you are just in because of the financial benefits of life coaching then it would be better to look for another job or business. In life coaching, you should always think of helping first before thinking of the profit.

Communication Skills

Life coaching is communicating. In this job, you will always be interacting with people of different behavior, attitude and backgrounds in life. As a life coach, it is very important that you have good communication skills. You should know how to convey the ideas that you want your clients to hear.

Communication skills is not only about talking and conveying your ideas. It is also important for a life coach to know how to listen. In this line of job, listening is a skill that is critically important for its success.

Undergo Training

The willingness to help and communication skills are definitely crucial to posses but they will not be enough. As have been stated in the definition, life coaches make use of different methods to help their clients. Of course these methods will not just occur to anyone.

As an aspiring life coach, you need to undergo different training programs as well as related seminars. This will provide you with the skills on how to help your future clients. With the help of training, you will be armed with the tools of the trade.

These are the 3 most important things you should consider on how to be a life coach. And not just any life coach but a life coach who can effectively help other people.

In 2016 I will be launching the “Diamond Coaching Success Training” Coaching Certification Program. Stay connected for more information coming in the next few weeks.

Character and Integrity

July 24, 2015 1 comment

Without character, the puzzle of achieving success falls apartIt is most important of all pieces to life’s puzzle.  Without character, you can make money.  But it will be worthless to you and to those around you.  Look out in the world today:  drug dealers and con artists have money—but they lack character.

If you go to all the work of achieving success, you don’t want to mar it with a lack of character that will make people pity you as you age and become less than you were intended to be.

Character equals integrity.  Integrity is doing the right thing all the time, even when no one else is watching.  You don’t have anything to fear when your integrity is in tact, because you have nothing to hide.  You experience no guilt and no fear.  And without those two traveling companions, it’s much easier to climb higher and farther, faster!

What does this mean in a practical sense?  It means that you will put the right philosophy (the golden rule) in to practice in all that you do.  You will not step on someone else to climb the corporate or success ladder; you will not stack bodies in order to reach the CEO position that you desire.  You will treat people with respect, honesty, and trust.  You will behave towards others how you want (and expect) them to behave towards you.

You will be the model of “doing the right thing” in your office, even if it isn’t appreciated or understood.  Chances are very good that if you’re the only one doing the right thing, you won’t last where you are, but you will find something better where your integrity is appreciated and applauded.

Day 4 – Productivity Killers and Myths

Are you one of the millions of people who simply want to find just a few more hours in their day to finish a task? What would you do with an extra hour sleep? Relax with friends? Or work more in your business? Whatever it is, learning simple strategies to become more productive is the aim of this challenge.

Productivity killers

What Kills Productivity? We all have the same 24 hours in a day, yet some seem to get way more done than others. In this section, let’s take a look at a few of the more common productivity killers. These can be killing your productivity in either your personal or business life.

Killer #1: Too much on your plate is one of the top productivity killers. We take on tasks even when we already have a full plate. Often times we do this because we are confident and overly optimistic. We believe we can get everything done or maybe we just haven’t learned to say no to those things we really don’t want to do.

Killer #2: Which leads to the next killer: You don’t know how to say no. By spreading yourself too thin, your quality of work, your health and your sanity often suffer. Taking on too much, filling your plate with every request made of you, can be overwhelming and cause you to not get done half of what you normally could.

Killer #3: Not getting enough sleep can kill your productivity. I’m not telling you to get 10 hours of sleep. Everyone’s body is different. But research says most people need 7 to 8 hours to be fully rested.

Killer #4: Not getting enough exercise can kill your productivity as well. Physical activity keeps your mind healthy as well as your body. Just a simple walk around the block can clear your mind so you are ready to start on a task when you return.

Productivity is key to getting things done. Learn more about productivity killers and myths, listen to the training audio here  http://stme.in/01WP2tfZz.

Got To Get Myself Together Day 2 – Five Tips to Manage Time in Your Business

August 11, 2014 Leave a comment

Time Management

Got To Get Myself Together! 2014 Teleconference Article Day 2

Managing time as a business owner can become a high priority. To maximize profits, a business owner should spend more time on income producing tasks, and less time on non income producing tasks. To this end, is helpful to:

Focus on Generating Income — Separate your tasks into two separate lists, those that produce income and those that don’t. You want to set up a system that enables you to spend the right amount of time doing income producing tasks while making it easy to do the other tasks, which while they may not produce income still need to be accomplished.

Set Goals — The time-management success secret for any business owner is that there is no real secret, you can’t really manage time, but you can manage what you do with your time. Having daily, weekly, monthly goals written-out very explicitly is an important factor in effective time management for a business owner. If you don’t know what needs to be done and what you’re working toward, you will be just flailing around with no direction. What is your ultimate business goal? What one goal do you want to accomplish this year? What are the steps that you need to take to achieve the goal for this year? Will that goal enable you to get closer to your ultimate business goal?

Create a Plan — Another time-management success secret for business owners is that you must have a written plan. Just like you need a map to go on a cross country trip, you need a plan to achieve your business goals. The best way to create an accurate and workable plan is to start with the end-goal and work your way backwards toward today. But, making the plan does more than just help you reach your goals, it helps you to manage your time effectively while arriving at your destination healthy and happy. Having a business is an exciting journey in which to take part, but if you have no plan and are so harried that you can’t breathe it will feel more like a nightmare.

Schedule Everything — The truth is, you can have all time-management success secrets for business owners written out and planned but without creating a schedule you can’t get hold of the time in a helpful way. In addition to focusing on income generating tasks, setting goals, and crafting plans of action, it is imperative, for ultimate time management, that you schedule everything. Schedules can be adjusted, but if you make it a rule that you only reschedule for truly important reasons and emergencies, you’ll find yourself with more time. Time to do what you want to do with your business, as well as with your family and friends.

Track Results — This is one of the most important time-management success secrets for business owners. Once you create a plan of action and start implementing it, track the results to see if you are accomplishing the goals you’ve set out to realize. If you’re not seeing the results that you want, rework each aspect of your goals and plans. Evaluate your calendar to make sure you’re making the most of each day.

Anointed For Business

Anointed For Business
Being called by God to be a business owner means, approaching your business with the belief and understanding that your business truly belongs to God and that you commit to being led by His Spirit in answering and fulfilling the call.

As a business owner your approach to business is a God-centered approach with a Kingdom purpose. You bring your entire being to your business – your mind+ soul+ heart – faith fueled for success. When you are called to be a business owner it is a “spiritual calling and assignment.” God gives your business a message [products or services] that you are responsible for getting to the world in a big way. It is known in the Kingdom of God as a form of “greater works.”

Doing business without the spiritual influence or aspect is a disservice to your customers/clients and is a rejection of God – the one who called you to business. Without the spiritual influence you rob your business success and your customers from experiencing all of gifts, talents and abilities you have been empowered with, not to mention the moral and business integrity that comes from the Word of God.

Being called to be a business owner has several key spiritual principles that confirm the calling:

1. You are spiritually gifted by God for the business [assignment]. 1 Corinthians 12:4 “Now there are diversities of Gifts, but the same Spirit.”

2. You have received a revelation about being called to business. The Apostle Paul knew what he was called to do. He said, “I am called an apostle.” He had a revelation about his calling.

3. You are responsible for identifying the type of business God wants you to own by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:12 “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”

4. You are to use the Word of God as the blueprint for your business and to maintain daily focus. Psalm 119:105 “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

5. You commit to running your business with Christ-centered integrity and excellence. Titus 3:8 “This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.”

As a spirit-filled business owner, your ultimate assignment is to let your Light Shine before all men. You have been created for Purpose, called to an Assignment, and released into Greater Works.

Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and Glorify your Father in Heaven.”
