Day 4 Six Reason for Setting Goals 2

6 key reasons why setting goals is so important (part 2)

When you set a goal for yourself, you determine whether or not you reach it. You tell yourself you’re going to do it, so you answer to yourself if you don’t. It’s up to you to make the action happen.

Here are the last three (3) key reasons why setting goals is so important:

Makes you accountable to yourself. When you set a goal for yourself, you determine whether or not you reach it.

Help you reach your potential. How will you ever know what you can do in life if you don’t try. Not having goals will keep you from growing.

Live life to the fullest. Having goals and reaching them helps you live a much happier life. Instead of dreaming, you can actually be doing it.

Assignment for Days 3 & 4:

  1. Where would you like to be one year from now?
  2. What motivates you in life?
  3. What things do you focus the most on in your life? Is it family, finances, or simply getting through the day?

Day 3 Six Reasons For Goals

6 key reasons why setting goals is so important (part 1)

Goals are important in life for many reasons. Here are the first three (3):

Helps you envision your future. It gives you an opportunity to start working toward something that is going to make YOU happy.

Gives you motivation. Whenever there’s a need in your life, there will be motivation to fill that need. Setting a  goal        toward something will help you see what  life would be like if you got that goal.

Keeps your focus on what’s important. Wherever your focus is will be where you exert your time and energy.

Assignment for Day 3:

Where would you like to be one year from now?

What motivates you in life?

What things do you focus the most on in your life? Is it family, finances, or simply getting through the day?

Day 2 Shitfing Focus

On of the main reasons why you may not have achieved some of the goals that you set at the beginning of year is you may have shifted your focus to the other things that interests you instead of the goals that you wanted to achieve. On this audio I will teach you some tips that will help you focus on your year-end goals and on improving yourself to finish strong.

Listen to Day 2 training audio here: http://stme.in/TMB1qVOdZ

Here is the assignment for Day 2:

1.  Take some time to reflect on this past year. What were your reasons for setting the specific goals you had for this year?

2.  Write down your year-end goals (include the ones you need to get started on or need to pick back up), anywhere and everywhere.

3.  Devise a well-defined schedule to work on your year-end goals.

Banner Day 1

Good Evening Everyone!

I pray that you had a great weekend and a spirit-filled Sunday. It’s time to get started with the “SHIFT” – From Point A to Point B 15 Days Challenge.

If you are like me, you want to finish this year and move into the new year on point. I want to be positioned to prosper in so many ways. I know you want the same thing.

Positioning yourself to prosper means taking the necessary steps to get into the right position. It starts with knowing what you want and setting goals to get it.

Have you set important goals for yourself only to let them slowly slip away?

How many New Year’s resolutions did you make earlier this year? How many have you actually kept?

If you’re like most people, when you think about it, you won’t like the answers to these questions.

A Life Without Goals – No way! You can’t prosper without goal.

Life without goals is kind of like a ball on a Pin Ball machine. You give it a push and it bounces all over the place.

It has highs and lows and big scores and low ones.
It doesn’t do what it wants.
It just bounces back from hitting other things.
The other things seem to be in more control than the ball.
When the ball does finally go through the bottom it doesn’t return.

You don’t want to finish this year or go into the new year this way.

You don’t want to just wander around letting other things push you around and into the wrong direction.

You need to take command of your life and make a decision to SHIFT into the right position.

HERE IS YOUR GETTING READY ASSIGNMENT:

1. Make a list (or go back over) of your goals for this year.

2. Use a colored highlighter to identify the ones you completely ignored or didn’t get a chance to do.

3. Using a separate sheet of paper write down the ones you can take some action steps to begin before this year is out. Give yourself the dates to complete each step.
