Spiritual Life Change

I have learned some great biblical principles on spiritual life change from my spiritual father Bishop I. V. Hilliard that have impacted my life tremendously. I would like to share these principles with you.

Change is defined as a purposeful effort that is sustained and assisted by divine help.

It is our responsibility to bring ourselves to a place of change. Change requires knowledge and honesty. It occurs on purpose and is by design. When truth is embraced in your life, change must take place.

When you commit to change it requires more than the exposure to information and logical reasons, it requires discipline.

Here are three steps to a spiritual life change:

1. Establish the truth about who you are.
2. Recognize challenges to who you are.
3. Have a premeditated response to negative stimulus.
4. Eliminate misbehavior.
5. Glorify God with your outcome.
6. Become accountable to someone who loves you.

Change is not by chance it is by design.

Very nicely said Ginger. I haven’t got a single religious thought in my silly brain, but those are great ground rules to live by. Visiting from UBC and hoping you’re having a lovely week. 🙂

Hi Ginger! Found you on UBC on FB. 🙂 Interesting that we’ve both written posts on change. Interesting that we have chosen two different paths to that change.
